The next major event in NJ that most of the club members will be visiting is AnimeNext.

A sizeable portion of the club will be attending this Con being that it is 15 minutes away from our college. Also, a lot of us are volunteering as entry level volunteers (gophers), staffers, technicians, vendors, and security.

We'll be having our annual Water Fight & BBQ this coming Thursday, May 14, at 12-7pm at the Open Grove in Roosevelt Park. Open Grove is right along Oakwood Ave, so if you see several people surrounding a grill or have water guns, you've come to the right place!

Just a precaution, but if there's heavy rain on Thursday, we'll be moving the event to the day after, on May 15th at the same location, same time.

Hey there everyone. Today was the final meeting of The AGT for the Spring 09 semester. We had our End of The Semester Party today.
The final meeting was headed by the new staff. Pizza, chicken, onion rings, and assorted desserts were served.

Brawl was played today along with Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.

Announcements:

AGT BBQ/Water Balloon Fight is May 14 in Edison Roosevelt Park open Grove. Set-up starts at 10:00 and the fun begins at 12:00 and will go on until 7:00. The team captains are Mohan & Charlie. If you would like to participate then talk to either one of them or go on the forums. the list of teams will be posted.

Japan Day is May 31 in Central Park and it is free, so why not go?

AnimeNEXT is coming close; June 12-14. Pre-reg is $45.00 online until May 24 and $55.00 at the door. It is in Somerset, about 15 minutes away from school, so there is really no need to book a hotel.

Otakon is July 12-14, in at the Baltimore convention center in. Pre-reg is $55.00 until July 2nd and $65.00 at the door, so hurry and pre-reg. If you don't pre-reg then you will more then likely not get in. Also, hotels are filling up fast so hurry and book.

Hey guys how goes it? Just a look into what we did this week.

We held the second annual White Castle Challenge. after Chibi-con and Charlie is the winner with 20, beating Moks record of 16. Congrats.

Sakura Matsuri is this Saturday, May 2nd. You are more then welcome to go on your own but this is when we are all going. BRING I.D. ,umbrella in case of bad weather, and medicine in case of allergies.

Raging Battle Pre-Release, for all of our Yu-Gi-Oh Players, is on May 2 & 3 in Scotch Plains at the Little Shop of Comics. There will be a tourney and you receive 5 packs before entering and one more after, as well as a promo card. Sign up as it is unlimited and free.

The Annual AGT BBQ & Water Gun Fight was brought up again. It will be May 14 at Roosevelt Park. Check the forums for more details.

This week we held our annual Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tourney.
Our winner and still Champion is Alex. Congrats.
