Waterballoon Fight...MAJOR ISSUES
Posted by Jaren on May 13 2008
The AGT have always had meetings on Thursday. That is how it was and that is how it should be. After 2 weeks of being called, messaged and blacklisted I've decided to...HAVE A POLL (less stress for me high-five).
The point is in two weeks there will be a water balloon fight. Yes, 2 weeks, the problem is which day should it be. Will it be Tuesday the 27th or Thursday the 29th.
The readers will choose what day it will be. I know everyone has work and crap that is why you have TWO WEEKS to decide weather you want to go or not..
{Mok} Just a reminder, the poll will be closed next Sunday, May 25th. So vote now!
AGT Picnic Summary
Posted by Mokuba on May 08 2008
So, we met up at Open Grove in Roosevelt Park. Didn't rain till later, so Mary Anne had enough time to grill some delicious looking chicken...thanks for those! When the rain fell, everyone moved to Marvin's place (thanks again!). Good times were had with the lechon I brought, as well as Mary Anne's ribs and more of her chicken. Games played were Mario Kart Wii, MUGEN, and Resistance. After the party, a small group headed over to Fusion Ti for a short hangout.
Thanks to the following people for making it a great event:
Kevin
Josh
Mary Anne
Marvin
Anyone else who provided the food
As stated below, we're planning another day for the postponed waterfight. We'll announce it as soon as possible.

Sakura Matsuri 2008: Status Report
Posted by Mokuba on May 04 2008
Status report from Mok: A small group of our club members went to Sakura Matsuri on Saturday, May 3rd. Tons of fun were had, lots of pictures taken, and a few unmentionable events occured (lol). Around 2:30pm, a fraction of the group headed to Elizabeth Center, while Regina and her lolita friends stayed at the BBG. We had a delicious lunch at Big Wong (seriously, it was called Big Wong) and spent most of the day shopping. We took the 9:14pm train back home.
Before I forget, a BIG THANKS to Jaren for doing a great job yesterday. Learning how to navigate around and leading the group after the festival, good job, man!
If anyone wants to add in their own reports, feel free to. Shots from me and Jon are already up on the photo section of the site.

Lastly, there is room for one more showcase each week for "Random Anime" which will be shown after the live actions. Note that leadership has decided to show an anime's most action packed episode rather than the boring first episodes, so its something to look forward too ^ ^.

The first tournament starts at 10am in the cafeteria and the 2nd half will be at 1:30pm in the AGT club room. Then the finalists from both half will duel each other in the AGT club room.
Everyone is welcome to participate, so spread the word to non-club members too!

2nd place -3 packs of Yu-Gi-Oh cards, 2 complete seasons of anime, and silver rare cards.
3rd place -1 pack of Yu-Gi-Oh cards, 1 complete season of anime, and common rare cards.
More prizes TBA.
RULES:
You must register yourself so that Denise can keep track of who's dueling in what part of the tournament and also to keep it an even number of duelests.
Also you can only use up to 2 decks in the tournament that you will also have to register. If you use a different deck to duel someone and the deck is not registered under your name you will be disqualified.
You have to choose what deck you will be using against your opponent before you sit down and duel, so that you don't see his deck before hand and switch to a deck that might be more of your advantage. Denise will explain more on this if you're confused the day of the tournament.
People who have registered with 1 deck will duel only against others that have registered with 1 deck. However, that rule will change if you're a finalist.
The new ban list will be used for the tournament. Using banned cards during a duel will result in disqualification. Denise will go over the ban list the day of the tourney just to make sure everybody knows.
No proxies!
To register yourself and your deck(s), visit the forums or click here.
This goes out to everyone. There will be no fighting in the club. It will not be tolerated.Youwill not be allowed to ruin the club for everyone else. Ask anyone in leadership if you need help in preventing a fight or are being provoked into one.
PHOTOS
Posted by Mike on Feb 23 2008
Something ive noticed as of late is the lack of recent photos from the club meetings. Photographs dont only say 1000 words, they also say that were an active and growing club. So as of now, we need volunteers to take pictures of the club and its members during meetings and special events(Our favorite photographer currently has class during club times and wont be able to take pictures because of it. we miss you Jon Chin aka hottest girl XD). Anyone is qualified for the job, just as long as they have a camera and access to the net to upload the photos at the site. I know that itll take time to find people to take photographs so i guess ill be taking pictures until someone takes up the mantle.(Trust me guys, i suck at taking pictures so someone better volunteer pretty darn soon.)

We will sort things out soon. Till then, welcome new members and check the forums for updates.
